From the moment I met Katie & Sara and heard about their wedding plans, I knew it was going to be an amazing day. Landladies at a fab little pub just outside Stratford- upon-Avon, they are no strangers to hosting fantastic events. This one was certainly no exception! They had planned a lovely ceremony in Warwick, followed by a tipi wedding in Stratford, Warwickshire, with small bell tents available for guests to stay over and party into the night!
Their wedding was full of all things a wedding should be- emotion, love, fun, laughter and completely reflected what is important in Katie and Sara’s life- family, friends and having a blast!
Lord Leycester Hospital
A double decker bus drove all the guests to the Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick for the wedding ceremony. Katie & Sara met outside in the gardens before their ceremony. The look on their faces as they saw each other for the first time was priceless. Seeing each other, looking beautiful in their wedding dresses, they were so emotional, but looked so happy! Their ceremony was beautiful, celebrating their love and commitment to each other. Sara’s sister read the most moving reading I have ever heard and had everyone in tears.
Tipi in Snitterfield, Stratford-upon-Avon
A 3 hat tipi provided by Elite tents, stood magnificent in an amazing farm setting a few miles from the ceremony, close to Stratford upon Avon. The perfect space for a party full of atmosphere and fun. The guests all boarded the bus and had fun on the short journey to the wedding reception. The sun came out and the guests were entertained by brilliant speeches – including a hilarious account of events from ‘Katie & Sara’s diaries’. Both bride’s did speeches which were really moving. Happy tears all round! The children (and adults) had great fun on the bouncy castle! The photo booth was a hit, with the props making their way out of the booth and providing some fun with the guests.
The wedding had such a fun, relaxed vibe, everyone had a fantastic time. Katie & Sara make such a brilliant couple and are blessed to be surrounded by the loveliest family and friends.
Tipi weddings are always such a hit with guests and make a huge impression as they arrive, seeing them for the first time. There is so much opportunity to include your own personality in a tipi wedding, with personalised details and a more relaxed, informal celebration. with seperate zones, there is space for partying as well as chilling and relaxing with friends.
Thanks to Katie & Sara for letting me capture their amazing wedding and to their guests who had me laughing all day!
