Barn Wedding
The morning sun illuminated the romantic beauty of Blackwell Grange at Molly & Harry’s stunning spring wedding. The sunshine captured the natural beauty of it’s surroundings, highlighting this remarkable couple in their celebrations. This really is the most idyllic, exclusive use venue for a really special wedding celebration.
Bride & Groom Prep
The morning began with Molly, her Mum, bridesmaids and flower girls in the bridal suite, otherwise known as The Potting Shed. Warm and inviting, this luxurious space was perfect for the bride to prepare for the day. Beautifully restored with really personal touches, it is an amazing space to start the excitement! As wedding hair & make up was underway, Molly and the girls chatted, laughed and drank prosecco. The Bridal Porch opens into an intimate, secluded terrace amongst climbing roses- the perfect spot for emotions to run high when Molly’s dad arrived. He truly was lost for words when he saw how beautiful she looked.
Meanwhile, Nick Brightman (my second photographer), captured the groom preparing with unforgettable and entertaining moments to cherish! The men arrived early and enjoyed a drink on the terrace as they greeted loved ones arriving.
Blackwell Grange Wedding Ceremony
Molly and Harry exchanged vows, embracing the atmosphere and character of Blackwell Grange, with gorgeous blossom trees arching in front of the Catch Barn. Perfect for their spring wedding! Fairy lights adorned the branches, within delicate pastel shades, creating a stunning ambience. Molly was exquisite in her wedding dress with detailed button-down back and lace around the top, whilst Harry charmed us all in a navy suit.
Spring Celebrations
As the couple emerged from the Thatch Barn, a shower of confetti from friends and family embellished the newly weds, who were lined along the path of the Apple Tree Lawn. Sunglasses were on and the sunshine beamed on the guests enjoying drinks and canapes on the terrace overlooking the Cider Lawn. Adding to this chatter, musicians sang and played guitar setting the perfect atmosphere for the chilled celebrations.
As we moved into the Orchard Barn, white blossoms and floral arrangements decorated the spiral staircase. Speeches are fantastic to capture, especially when surprising and hilarious memories emerge! More photos were captured outside in the most amazing sunset, until it was time for dancing. Traditionally Molly & Harry danced to their first dance. This was a beautiful moment. Wood fired pizza was served in the walled garden and the wonderful day was concluding with more dancing. All in all, this was a phenomenal day to capture precious moments with a beautiful couple and wonderful scenery.
