This Easter Sunday was rather special. Instead of stuffing my face on ridiculous amounts of chocolate, I had the most amazing day with Emma & Tim, photographing their beautiful Nailcote Hall wedding!
I met these guys when they were guests at another wedding 2 years ago, so I have been looking forward to this wedding for a while! We had the coldest, wintry weather for their pre-wedding shoot- the scorching sunshine on their wedding day was a real treat!!
Wedding day!
Emma & Tim got married at Nailcote Hall, a gorgeous 17th century country house in Berkswell, near Solihull, West Midlands. It is jam packed with character and has beautiful grounds. For this spring wedding, the blossom trees were bursting. The colour provided an amazing back drop for some relaxed couple portraits.
Emma & Tim’s day was full of emotion. With such a great crowd, it was also full of laughter and fun. The sun shone, and the drinks flowed. There was a lovely relaxed vibe as people sat in the sunshine and enjoyed the day.
To explore the grounds, Emma & Tim had the use of a golf buggy to drive us over to some stunning locations. With Ed and I hanging off the back (Ed Bray films), it was a real giggle- especially when Tim drove us back out at sunset after a few more glasses of champagne. Sunset is my favourite time of the day for couple shots. The light is beautiful and the couple enjoy a few more minutes alone before kicking off the party. I am a big kid and driving round in a golf buggy always puts a smile on my face. Nailcote Hall weddings are fun!!
There are parts of the day of every wedding that I really look forward to. The dance floor has got to be up there near the top! This crowd had the moves. Reggae music was on the playlist and the party rocked!
This was such a brilliant day to be part of- Emma & Tim- thanks for having me!
