Charlotte & Paul got married in the gorgeous little chapel within Walton Hall grounds, on the sunniest September day. Walton Hall is a stunning wedding venue, just outside Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. A Walton Hall wedding has the benefit of she 16th century Grade II listed building, set in 65 acres of Warwickshire woodland and landscaped gardens. It is a truly stunning place and the amazing drive up to the hall leaves you in awe of what’s to come! The sunshine on the day was the icing on the cake!
The Wedding Day Build Up
After a really fun pre-wedding shoot with them at Jephson Gardens (they turned up in matching, printed T-shirts!), I knew their wedding day would be a blast! The planning was a little stressful to say the least, with Charlotte’s dress not arriving as it should. It all worked out in the end though and their wedding came together perfectly. The build up to your wedding can be stressful if things don’t go to plan- there is so much pressure and anticipation to create the most amazing day.
Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding day – emotional, sunny, fun, beautiful with lots of laughing and a fair few dabs!! We had the most beautiful sunshine but it was also very windy and Charlotte’s veil had a mind of its own! It looked beautiful flowing out behind her though. Their ceremony was very emotional and included a blessing for their baby son. This really made the ceremony special for them as a family . The chapel at Walton Hall really is a special place for a wedding ceremony.
Celebrations
Charlotte and Paul wanted fun to be a big part of their wedding and the day had a wonderful, laid back vibe to it. Garden games were set up outside on the vast landscaped lawn overlooked by the terrace. The wedding breakfast was followed by emotional speeches which ended with a hilarious game of Mr & Mrs! Paul’s older son was his best man and their baby son smiled through the whole day, charming everyone! This Walton Hall wedding was brilliant to be part of. Such a lovely family to capture these special memories for.
If you are planning your wedding, I would love to hear from you x
