‘Oh my god!! Claire, thank you so much. Words cannot express how much we love these photographs. The moments you captured of our day are just magical! The laughter, the tears, the love ❤️ Thank you so much!’
Summer wedding at the Wood Norton
When I think back to Hannah & Matt’s gorgeous Wood Norton wedding, it makes me grin- it was such a fantastic day, full of emotion, which I adore most about weddings.
I started the day with Hannah, capturing bridal prep and it was clear how close her family are from the happy tears as they all got ready. So much love! I knew from the amount of tears in the morning that this was going to be one emotional wedding- my favourite kind! My second photographer caught up with the men. He captured the comical moments where Matt drilled (yes drilled!!) a hole into his best man’s belt!!
A Stunning day for a beautiful wedding!
An emotional church wedding was followed by a brilliant reception at The Wood Norton in Evesham, Worcestershire. Built in 1897 by French Royalty, this grade II listed building is a beautiful wedding venue. It has even hosted a royal wedding! Right next to beauty spots such as the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills, this magnificent building overlooks miles and miles of Worcestershire countryside. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views across the Worcester countryside as they sip champagne and mingle on the manicured lawns.
The weather was perfect- following a week of extreme weather from heat to rain downpours! There were so many special moments through their day- so much laughing, lots of crying, very emotional speeches that were also hilarious with funny stories shared! The swing in the gardens at The Wood Norton always provides great entertainment and I caught some of Hannah and Matt’s friends organising their own group photo. How many people can you fit on the swing?! It made a great shot!
Hannah & Matt enjoyed their wedding breakfast in the Orangery. This is an amazing space- modern and contemporary, full of light, turning into the perfect room to party for a fantastic wedding celebration!
Hannah and Matt kept guest entertained with a magician after the wedding breakfast. While guest chilled on the terrace, the couple slipped off for some beautiful portraits in the golden light as the sun set. Golden hour is my absolute favourite to capture some beautiful wedding photographs. Every wedding needs a sunset like this one!
As first dances go this one was pretty spectacular! Hannah & Matt had prepared a first dance routine which included a lift and a drag- better than watching Strictly!!
I loved getting to know Hannah and Matt and it was amazing to be part of their beautiful day.
