When Lydia & Max booked me to photograph their wedding I was super excited! I have known Lydia and her family for a good few years now which made capturing the day really special!
Bridal prep and room decorating was in full swing when I pulled up at The White Hart Inn. I love going to new places to shoot weddings and Manchester was a new one for me. The venue has a lovely outdoor, covered ceremony room which was soon showered with gold confetti, after bridesmaids fired canons off as Lydia & Max had their first kiss as husband and wife. I knew it was coming and it still scared the hell out of me!! (every wedding should have confetti canons!)
Lets talk about the tears! Lydia’s Dad started the wave of tears off in the morning. He was completely overwhelmed when he saw Lydia ready in her wedding dress- she looked stunning! Max’s tears didn’t stop once he saw Lydia walking down the aisle. He has set the bar high for friends that are still to get married- who doesn’t love an emotional groom??!
Lydia & Max had a blast from then on- they didn’t stop laughing and the day was really fun and relaxed. You know it’s a great party when the DJ has to clear the dance floor for the first dance!
It was an amazing day, so much fun to be part of. A great crowd, awesome speeches and some brilliant dancing!! Lydia & Max- thank you so much for having me X
