As autumn approaches and my busy family photography season starts, I wanted to share this beautiful photoshoot with you from late summer in Leamington Spa. This year, more than ever, has shown us how precious family is and how important it is to spend time with the people we love.

I absolutely adore family photography and am really passionate about capturing real moments and beautiful connections with natural photographs, that families will look back on and treasure.

Family Photography in Warwickshire

As a family photographer working across Warwickshire, I am spoilt for beautiful, outdoor locations. There are so many choices from woodland to parkland, offering families fun places to explore which also provide the most stunning backdrops for their photographs.

I had a wonderful photoshoot with this gorgeous family at Newbold Comyn in Leamington spa a few weeks ago. It was the most beautiful evening with an amazing sunset. The family booked in for a family shoot, looking for authentic, natural images of them together, capturing the boy’s personalities. They brought along outdoor games to play together which was brilliant to photograph. I love to see the children really relishing the quality time spent with their parents on a family shoot.

Gone are the days where the only option for family photographs were posed smiles and white backdrops. Natural family photography in an outdoor location is a popular choice these days. Outdoor shoots can be taken in a location chosen by the family, in a place meaningful to you. A natural approach means no awkward posing or smiling at the camera. The most important thing for me to capture on a family shoot is feeling and emotion. My aim is for my images to trigger memories and bring feelings flooding back each time a family looks back on their photographs.
